Cookie Policy – ThinkZoe

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember your settings or collect information about how you use it. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage) and tracking pixels, work in a similar way.
2. How we use cookies
In line with the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), we only use strictly necessary cookies without your consent – those without which the site or a service you requested would not work. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, the site works just the same.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| tz_cookie_consent | ThinkZoe | stores your cookie banner choice | necessary | 12 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics | distinguishes visitors (random identifier) | analytics | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | keeps session state and counts visits | analytics | 2 years |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe (once introduced) | payment fraud prevention | necessary | 1 year |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe (once introduced) | payment fraud prevention | necessary | 30 minutes |
When you make a choice in the banner, Google Consent Mode passes your choice on to Google for analytics cookies. We update this list whenever we add a new tool.
4. Managing cookies
- You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
- For Google Analytics, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Tracking in emails
Emails sent via Mailchimp contain tracking pixels and tracked links (see section 5 of the Privacy Policy).
